PORTFOLIO @ Solomon: Jewellery, until 24th October
 Chaotic Capacitors, Eoin M Lyons PORTFOLIO: Jewellery presents over 60 innovative artworks by 18 jewellery makers including Rudolf Heltzel, Nuala Jamison, Angela O'Kelly and Eimear Conyard, as well as up and coming designers. The exhibition showcases pieces created with gold, silver, precious stones, paper and plastic using both traditional and contemporary techniques. (F)
National Craft Gallery: Ó
 Ó, Kilkenny, until 10th January 2016 (F) 'Ó', meaning from in Irish, conveys the story of Ireland as a source of creative ideas and making, and explains how our craft heritage inspires new and contemporary design. The exhibition, which was first shown at London Design Festival in September, features work in stone, glass, ceramics, wood and textiles from almost 30 designers.
LATE DATE: Ceadogán Rugs (F) Thursday 22nd October, 6.30pm Meet the Maker talk with Denis Kenny of Ceadogán Rugs. For the past 25 years Denis has been committed to the craft of rug making, come meet Denis and hear about the journey.
Family Day: CRAFTPACK Workshop (F) Saturday 7th November: 10.30am & 12noon, Teen workshop: 2.30pm Join Benny from Whackpack Furniture for this innovative craft and design workshop. Suitable for children aged 5+.

Irish Design 2015
Irish Design Afternoon Tea, daily until 31st October Dublin’s Westbury Hotel created an Irish Design Afternoon Tea in celebration of ID2015 inspired by Ireland’s top designers and craftspeople featured in the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland's PORTFOLIO: Critical Selection 2015-2016 publication.
Irish Design 2015 (ID2015) explores, promotes and celebrates Irish design through events and activities in Ireland and internationally.
Waterford Festival of Architecture. 13th - 18th October (F) The theme of this year’s festival is “Origins”. Ancient Architecture Craft Workshop. Waterford Central Library, 17th October.
Design Bites. ID2015 Design Hub, until 29th October (F) Lunchtime design talks every second Thursday to complement ID2015's Platinum exhibition.

ID2015 Design Hub, until 7th November (F) The A’Design Award aims to highlight, promote and advocate good design, honouring the best designers, architects, engineers, studios, brands and design led companies from across the globe. This exhibition features the 2015 A’Design Award platinum winners.
